Jailbreak gives you the privileged in installing ur favourite apps into ur Iphone and Ipod for free. Recently I hv tried jailbreak-ing my friends ipod touch firmware 4.1 using greenpoison (www.greenpoison.com). Download the software through the website and install it into your computer. Firstly, u hv to connect your ipod/iphone to the computer. Open greenpoison and follow the simple steps guiding u throughout the process. Jailbreak was never been so easyy~~ ^^
Make sure that the cydia can be loaded after all the jailbreak. If there is a problem in loading cydia , use redsnow to install cydia . After cydia was installed, download 'Installous'. This app will help you in downloading other apps that u required. First open cydia then go to > search tab> write http://cydia.hackulo.us/ >click enter> go to manage tab> hackulo > install Appsync for 4.0+,hackolus resource, Hackolus Security and Installous 4 ( ignored if already installed).
And after that, U can use Installous and install any apps to ur liking. =)
